Okay, here is how the day went…..

As predicted, the weather was well… as predicted. Woke up to angry rain god, angry alarm god, and very angry running late god…… And also, as predicted, the coffee on the way there was like a leaf of iceberg lettuce, tasteless, with the texture of a little bit of dirt……

However, once we were out north a little, beautiful clear skies!!! It was fantastic to get back to seeing familiar faces, familiar cars, and the very familiar smell of petroleum products in the air!!

Walking around the track we could still see familiar pieces of fibreglass from the bikes, pieces of carbon fibre from high end sports / race cars, and even the occasional structural supports from drift cars (commonly known as cable or zip ties…..)
